Question 2
i just don't fit in.?... as ive gotten older ive never felt like i was a part of my age group. ive always felt more mature for my age. my dad is like the only person in this entire universe that really understands me. ive been and seen a lot for my age. my mother is not a very good mom. my grandmother lives with us and can be really harsh. ive always felt like ive worked so hard for everything i have and i feel like i keep getting crapped on. girls at my school just dont like me at all most of the time for absolutely no reason. it seems like someone is always ragging on me for no reason at all! a lot of guys like me but i cant seem to find the right one. and when i do find a guy i actually like he just ends up being a complete jerk or just out of my league. i just wish i could find some advice from an older wiser person. high school is so hard to deal with.

2) to get somewhere in life, you must face obstacles and overcome them, your still overcoming them.
It will all end soon, and youll find someone whos right for you.

3) Stop caring what other people think about you and look at yourself as superior to them. That should get you through high school. It works for me. - spartan
4) there is no "league". you can be with anyone you want. and in highschool you just have to hang out with people you actually like to hang out with, dont hang out with anyone to impress anyone, thats the only way youll be happy. and youll get more respect for being yourself than trying really hard to be popular. - iuo
5) I'm not older.. But I do know what your going through.. All I know is that I am exactly like you. I don't belong in my school at all.. I fit in a little with the jocks, the neards, the populars, and the weirds.. ALL the girls at my school HATE my guts.. Well all the "pretty" ones.. anyway.. No boys even like me either.. So when I look online and see that I'm not the only one thats like this.. I feel better. The best advice I can give you is that the "populars" Are just trying to mask something up. Trying to hide somthing bad that they have or have done.. Most likely they are the one with more problems then you.. Just try to find one friend.. One friend that likes you for you. When you find one friend that you can go to for everything that is when life starts getting better. All the people I have gone out with are dirty liars that broke up with me and broke my heart.. They can be harsh but the thing to remember is that your not the only one and that one guy is never worth it.. If it doesn't work out with one person it just means the journey to finding Mr. Right is just getting more interesting.. And when you get out of a bad relationship.. the one friend really does help you alot because you have someone to fall back on for help and strength to keep moving on. But don't move on too too fast.. Don't start dating someone else unless it has been at least 2 days or more after a brake up.. I know from experence how much it hurts.. it feels like your not respected enough by that person for them to just wait A DAY even.. - Kay
6) get yourself a 2009 GT/Cobra/Saleen/Roush/Shelby v8 Mustang and put a axle back exhaust on it and when you start it up any guy will take a glance i guarantee it. pin stripes down the front wont hurt. - mustangfanatic

Two 12's Alpine Type R's?... I have two 12s alpine type R in a bassworx sealed box.. what can i do to make it sound better? i already have a copacitor that im going to get installed that'll help me out allooottt* also, i plan on gettin w-407 alpine touch screen headunit in a month or two. i want to port my box but i dont know if thats possible. can i get it ported or might as well get a new box that is ported??? thanks~
Answers
1) On the Box........The Cap will help ALOT. If the box still sucks port it with a 3" hole and if you still not happy trash the box and go Band Pass. A pair of 12 s move alot of air so you really need to let it breathe. A good box is everything - tom p
2) dont try to port your sealed enclosure, you will end up ruining a good box. just buy another enclosure for your subs. believe it or not but a cap does not improve the sq of your subs. it simply gives surges to the amp when it needs it. if you have power draw problems, install a second battery for the sub.
the quality of sound is determined alot by the amp your using to push the subs. try switching to a alpine mrp-m500. one amp per sub. granted your subs are the swr-1242D model, you can wire them to 2 ohm to get 500 watts rms. otherwise, get an amp that pushes 500 watts rms at the ohm load you have your subs wired to. - Steve

Tips on Dynamating my trunk?... If I just dynamat the top of my trunk Not the whole trunk, will I see any kind of change with the outside rattling in my trunk? Also is there any other produce the will reduce the license plate from rattling beside screwing it down from all four sides. I'd buy that Dynamat one but first off it looks super gay, and second, why would I want to put a red flag on my trunk that say "hey when I'm gone open me up and steal my shit!"

1) Try to trace first which areas are rattling during heavy bass hits, then apply dynamat there.
You just put dynamat behind the liscense plate and use your own frame. Dont use the kit. - AL M
2) about your liscense plate rattling, what i did was buy these double sided sticky poster mounts for a few bucks from wal mart and stick them on each corner on the back of my plates. no more rattling from my liscense plate.

the radio also has a built in cd player :P a very good one i would rather not take it out

1) o yes! most definitly. the best way to do it is to get two amps. one for the aditional speakers and one for your subs. i dont even have any of the speakers in my truck hooked up to my radio. all amped. it sounds alot better that way. - Brandon
2) get yourself a CD player then a sub and a 400W to a 1000W amp depending on what kind of sub or subs you get but remember with higher wattage amps you will need a capacitor to prevent power loss - tweak

Question 3
Interior neons flashing to bass for my car?... So i've really been wanting to get the neons for the interior of my car that flash to the bass of the music =] I just have a few questionz bout it.,. If you own any,. have they caused any electrical problemz to the car or the speakers? is there any cons to getting these kind instead of the regular ones?
Also,. i was thinking of just getting four or five 9 inch bars, one under each seat and then maybe puting one above the back seats right under the rear window,. would that be enough to light up most of the interior? or is it going to end up just looking like seperate little bars lighting up different small sectionz of the car =/
And last but not least., i know it's illegal to have neons in cars unless for show,. but would i get pulled over if i drive at night with the interior neons on? This is for the state of California,.. because i've heard some people say most cops let that slide by =/

Answers
1) 1) My friend has that done to his car. LOL No they don't cause electic problems unless not wired right. I know someone whose speakers burnt out because of wrong wiring.
2) Yes, that would light up most of the interior when the bass would be up.
3) I don't know if it's illegal, but if it is, I guess just keep the bass on medium. That way they wouldn't be too bright. BTW, cops let me slide by going 80 in a 45, so.... - Nev_619dx
2) it wont cause electrical problems
and if you want to get away with it just tint your windows the same color as the neons and thel never notice, or even black would do - Jasun K
3) first off, i have a 10" ring under each of my 2 seats, then 2 more rings in the back of my hatch. They light up my entire car... I never had a problem with the wiring, just make sure it's done right, and if they do not get the correct amount of power they may need a "warm up" time. Lastly, yes i'm almost positive it's illegal, BUT i've gotten away with it, it may be becasuse my windows are extremely tinted, but by any rate, i would make an easily accessable and relatively hidden on/off switch that you can flick if things get hairy. Question 4
If my amp is 50x4 watts, and my two subs are at 450 rms together, am i getting full potential?... I have 2 12' mtx thunder 4500 subs powered by a pioneer premier gm-a5040 amp that gives out i believe 50x4 watts. so if my subs are at 225 watts rms each and together at 450 watts rms. Does this mean that i am not fully using my subs at its potential because the amp's watts is only at 200 while my subs are at 450? and im also thinking of getting a used head unit, alpine cda-9827. is this head unit good for 75 bucks?
Answers
1) You are correct, you are not using the subs to their full potential. Keep in mind as well that amplifier power is usually quoted at peak power and RMS is more realistic. Also, you are running 2 speakers with a four channel amp. Unless you can bridge the amp to two channels your speakers will only see about 25 watts each. I would recommend a 2 channel amp of about 200 watts RMS per channel (400x2 peak). You will also need a crossover to cut off the higher frequencies to the sub-woofers. Many amps come with built in subwoofer crossovers, this would be your best option. Be sure to wire the amp directly to the battery with at least 4 gage wire and a 500 mF capacitor would also be a good idea. Good Luck. - mechengineer
2) for your first question: your amp is a 4 cahnnel amp (thats why it says 50x4) - your only getting 50 watts per cahnnel and that is 50watts rms or max i'm not sure cuz you didn't mention it. generally subs go on one cahnnel becuase it maximizes the power the amp can give to them. so try to find a 1cannel usually called monoblock amp that is roughly 500watts . BTW: four channel amps are genrally for speakers in your car because you have four of them and when you want to replace them with aftermarket one's it helps them put out at their max power. if your getting those then save the amp.
for your second question: yes thats pretty good. it gennerally costs $150-$195 for a new one. - ♦ Singh ♦
3) for one thing that amp right there is a 4ch amp like said above, sec. its a class A amp, if ur looking to push these subs go with a class D mono amp, third how old is that thing i bet its like 12years old.... sorri to rag on ya yo - Boogieman

What product should I get to listen to my ipod in my car?

What product should I get to listen to my ipod in my car?... The car is a volkswagon and the ipod is an ipod classic. I don't have an aux hookup thing in the car, can I still have ipod hookup? HELP!!

3) u can buy a tape that connects to your ipod. i own one. it works great. i recommend it. - Ted
4) if it has a tape deck, you can get an adapter that has a tape with a wire running out that connects to the earphone jack in your ipod.
if not, you can get an fm transmitter. these are more expensive, and, while they produce higher quality audio, they break much more often and if you cant find a radio station with just static then it wont play right - Ac3
5) You could get a portable iPod speaker such as the iHome Color Changing Stereo System with Passive Speaker. - Julia

Chevy S-10 Blazer stereo problems.?... My stereo is the original one that came with the car and has no power running through it but the clock (part of the stereo) works fine. I've tried changing both the fuses that power the radio and nothing has worked. I've also taken the stereo deck out of the car and see no problems. Any ideas on why this could be happening? I have a feeling it is within the stereo deck but I don't want to give up yet! Thanks.

1) fueses - Jason
2) check to see if there is 2 power wires. The clock would have to be hot all the time. I would think that there is another hot wire when you turn the switch on - Joe w
3) can you pull the deck out of the console ? if so check behind it for a blue wire labeled "remote"..... some factory radios do not have this wire but yours might.
the remote wire tells the radio when the ignition is on or off, therefore telling the radio to come on or off, if this wire becomes unplugged or damaged the radio stays off, but the clock may be wired somewhere else and thats why its staying on. - teg

* Low Frequency response: 20 Hz
* High Frequency Response: 4500 Hz
* Diameter: 12 Inch
these are my subs i have two of them,
WHAT SIZE CAPACITOR WILL I NEED!!
&&& WILL THIS HELP MY CAR FROM CUTTING OUT THE DOOR SPEAKERS WHEN I TURN IT UP LOUD?
Answers
1) i would upgrade the BATTERY or alternator and or both and if ur havin trouble with the Component speakers upgrade those and hook them to amps too - Matt
2) cap's are near useless for car audio. they are a gimmick to get your money. google 'the big 3' and do that instead, it will work 10x better for less money.
honestly, at your power level you should not be having any trouble. double check your wiring. - dragon breath
3) A cap will not prevent your speakers from cutting out at high volumes.
You will not need a cap. Most people buy caps for the wrong reasons. A cap will not help create new power and it will not be very helpful for stopping headlight dimming issues. If you have power issues than do the "big 3" upgrade like recommended previously. In most cases a cap is going to be a waste of money so I would not recommend getting one.
If your door speakers are cutting out at high volumes it will likely be from another issue.
Good Luck!!! - MDC

Question 5
how can you bridge a mono block amp?... and about ohms is it better to be higher ohms or lower ohms
Answers
1) a mono amp is already 1 channel. their is no bridging
the lower the resistance ( ohm's ) the higher the wattage, as long as the amplifier is rated for it. - dragon breath
2) No, you can't bridge a monoblock amp.
It is better to have an 8 ohm load on an amp than a 1 or 2 ohm assuming equal power output. Having an 8 ohm load would have lower heat and distortion than a 1 or 2 ohm load. However, an 8 ohm load will not produce the same amount of power as at a 1 or 2 ohm load. With a 1 or 2 ohm load your amp will produce more power than at 8 ohms. So there is an advantage or disadvantage to either setup.

6) there are many things, some of which you can find overly priced at an apple store, which plug into th eheadphone output of the ipod, or any mp3 player, and transmit sound to your radio over any 1 of several frequencies. many don't work very well, but my sister got one for her ipod and it seems that the new era of electronics may have solved this. also, they make ths same kind of thing which goes into the tape deck... - ez80227
7) the iTrip.
it lets you listen to your ipod off of the radio.
it works great - George

Question 2
What's wrong with my car speakers (rear 6x9s)?... So I don't know anything about the electrical stuff on my car but there's a problem with my rear two speakers on my 2001 Mazda Protege MP3.
So the one on the driver's side doesn't produce any sound at all.
And the one on the passenger's side produces normal sound sometimes, then sometimes it'll produce a crackly sound, and then sometimes it won't produce any sound at all.
What's wrong with it?
Answers
1) Check the wiring connections. It's a good first step. - Firecracker .
2) your speakers are most likely blown, meaning they need to be replaced.
other than that im not sure, if you have a car audio shop near-by drop in and have them listen to the sound, they should be able to tell you for sure if they need replacing. - teg
3) Their just blown replace them simple as that - Tim
4) they got blown out you just need them replaced is all - Muerte BloodDragon

Question 3
Chevy S-10 Blazer stereo problems.?... My stereo is the original one that came with the car and has no power running through it but the clock (part of the stereo) works fine. I've tried changing both the fuses that power the radio and nothing has worked. I've also taken the stereo deck out of the car and see no problems. Any ideas on why this could be happening? I have a feeling it is within the stereo deck but I don't want to give up yet! Thanks.
Answers
1) fueses - Jason
2) check to see if there is 2 power wires. The clock would have to be hot all the time. I would think that there is another hot wire when you turn the switch on - Joe w
3) can you pull the deck out of the console ? if so check behind it for a blue wire labeled "remote"..... some factory radios do not have this wire but yours might.
the remote wire tells the radio when the ignition is on or off, therefore telling the radio to come on or off, if this wire becomes unplugged or damaged the radio stays off, but the clock may be wired somewhere else and thats why its staying on. - teg
4) The stereo could have experienced a wet willy when you dropped on coke on it. - surfmystyle

• 2 Ohms Rms: 145x4
• Mono Rms: 290x2

* RMS Power Range : 150 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 800 Watts
* Impedance: 4 Ohm
* Low Frequency response: 20 Hz
* High Frequency Response: 4500 Hz
* Diameter: 12 Inch
these are my subs i have two of them,
WHAT SIZE CAPACITOR WILL I NEED!!

Question 5
how can you bridge a mono block amp?... and about ohms is it better to be higher ohms or lower ohms
